Meet Jeff Waters, an avid angler whose passion for fishing has been woven into the fabric of his life since his childhood days in Lakeland, Minnesota. Growing up along the shores of the St. Croix River, Jeff’s journey started with casting shad raps and biking to the docks for angling adventures. His unyielding dedication led him through the tides of change, from facing zebra mussels to navigating floodwaters, all while consistently reeling in remarkable catches. With over a decade of fishing tournaments alongside partner Andy Johnson, Jeff’s prowess shines with a string of top 5 finishes, a testament to his commitment and skill. Beyond the river, Jeff’s summers as an Alaskan tour guide enriched his expertise, making him a well-rounded angler. Now settled in Lakeland with his family, Jeff’s heart belongs to the St. Croix River, where his love for Walleyes and Whitetails thrives. His journey has made him an expert in fishing Minnesota and Western Wisconsin’s lakes, and he’s here to share his wealth of experience and knowledge with you. The valleys and bluffs along the St. Croix are littered with white pines, oaks, and maples that bring breath taking colors during the autumn season. It is truly a hidden treasure that lies on the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin.
